I want to add a new color to my palette based on my current color but I only change the saturation/value. is there a way to do this without manually creating a new color and copy the previous color’s settings?
If you ctrl+drag a colour in the palette, you can copy it. Then, you can modify the copy.

You mean ctrl+click? I tried cmd+click for mac, didn’t work though.
You should have a red button to the right of the colour for this.

On Mac you can hold either alt (⌥) or ctrl (⌃) while dragging a swatch to duplicate it. Be sure to grab it by its yellow outline!
