Onion skin only the current layer

So my understanding is that onion skinning displays all of the visible layers. I would like it if I could set it to only display the current layer in the onion skin so that I don’t have to hide my background layers in order to see my onion skin.

Thoughts?

You can already do this. In the timeline options, there’s the “Current layer only” checkbox:
