P3R Makoto Yuki Medium Shot Heavy WIP

Its been a while but I’ve been slowing trudging away at this:

Its very rough but its just meant to be a behind the shoulders medium shot of the sprite I first made. Think like when you’re deciding what action to take in the game its usually this third person perspective on your character.

This was a first pass for what I wanted the basic colours (and Makoto) to look like:

This was second pass for more what I had wanted it to look like eventually:

I’ve found that if I work on something like this for too long, I slow right down and eventually not get a lot of work done so I reckon I’ll start another project since I’m pretty much burnt out from this. I think I wanna try make some kind of Orpheus sprite next. For context his left arm is supposed to drop down into a kinda looping breathing cycle. Although I had wanted to do something almost like an idle animation with the left arm (just generally something to break up the monotony of the loop) maybe like him putting in his earphones for instance. I also wanted to do a couple of different sequences with the wind blowing on his jacket. I would still love and appreciate any feedback anyone has!!! : D
