I payed for the full version and i cant get it to save. It still thinks its the trial. I am on Linux btw.

After you bought it what did you do? Did you download the new version you got and put it somewhere and run that executable?
@Chris_Sullivan did you uninstalled the trial version and then installed the official one? you have to download the .deb file and install it if you are in a Ubuntu/Debian-like distribution, or you can uncompress it and then uncompress the data.tar.xz and execute the /usr/bin/aseprite file inside it (this work even for non-Debian Linux distributions).
If you cannot find your installer, contact us at support@aseprite.org and we can help you to download the .deb file.
