Below are some troubleshooting questions to try to help:
- Does the file path of your scripts folder contain any characters beyond UTF-8, such as é or ö? (See Script folder path "cannot open no such file or directory" .)
- What version of Aseprite are you using?
- What operating system are you using?
- What file name and extension are you giving to the files? Are they in subfolders within the script folder? The
dofilecommand at the top of the demo file, for example, expectsspectral.lua. - What do the errors say?
