Possible to paste transparent pixels?

Hey everyone, I am new to this community.

I was wondering if it is possible to paste transparent pixels? So if I select a region that has some pixels with alpha zero, and then paste that selection somewhere else, I’d like the transparent pixels to clobber what is there and make those pixels transparent. Is that possible?

Hi @city41, I think at the moment that is only possible with Indexed mode, enabling the Opaque mode in the context bar:

Oh awesome, that works! I need to switch to indexed then switch back to RGB when done, but that’s not a big deal. Thanks!
