Road in a sunset

I don’t think I ever will be a good pixel artist… but I try.

not bad, far from good thought, in the end however everything is theory and pratice, i dont believe in talent, sure some have easier starts due to a range of different sets of circunstances in their life, but thats as far as it goes, is a different starting point, we all can learn, we do so in different ways but we all can get there eventually, dont get dispirited!

as far as the artwork goes, theres nothing utterly wrong, but theres a lot of room for improvement, first thing i would recommend is getting a better understanding in lines, curves and shapes, and after that learn to deal with colors.

i would recommend buying and playing a game called Pixel Art Academy: Learn Mode, it teaches all the basics in a pratical, interative and immersive way, however if you cant do that.

here are some learning resources!

These are good to start with

These are for more specific topics

I wish you good luck on your journey friend  !

Thanks a lot! Pixel Art Academy looks great, I will certainly give it a try! I know Slynyrd. In fact, I think I am a little bit better since I look up a few of his tutorials. My problem always is to see the “bigger picture” in pixel art. The "less is more” mindset is a little far from me. I think this is one of the reasons, I’m somewhat stalled.

Anyway, thanks for the encouraging words and the links!

I think it looks very nice! also dont get down on that
