There seems to be no way to notify the user that the script has been updated. I’ve created and maintained some scripts, sometimes getting reports of bugs in older versions. I think some feature to keep scripts and extensions updated is needed.

If the Lua scripting API has a HTTP request feature, the manager can be easily implemented as an extension.

Hi @Tsukina-7mochi, there were plans for an Aseprite Store, but it was moved for a future. Anyway seeing more and more extensions in the wild, we’ll try to plan this for a short-term future.

The idea that it could be an extension itself, is interesting. We’ll think about it.
