Selection to new archive

Hola, ¿existe alguna opción de llevar una selección a un nuevo archivo?.

Quiero decir, yo selecciono un area y mediante una opción llevo esa selección a un nuevo archivo sin tener que:

  • copiar la seleccion
  • crear un nuevo archivo
  • pegar la selección

Si no existe creo que sería buena idea disponer de una opción que haga esto.

Hello, is there any option to take a selection to a new file ?.

I mean, I select an area and through an option I take that selection to a new file without having to:

  • copy the selection
  • create a new file
  • paste the selection

If it does not exist, I think it would be a good idea to have an option that does this.

Hi @SynthED, I think you are looking for the Edit > New Sprite from Selection option.

I think it’s there because Edit > New Brush is there too, but I don’t remember why I put that option there :sweat_smile: Basically it could be in Select > New Sprite, or File > New From Selection too.
