Setting specific colours for shading pencil?

Hey, Im new to Aseprite, im trying to figure out how to shade my work using the shading pencil tool but sometimes the shading colour isnt what I like. Is there a way to change the colour used for shading regardless of what colour the art being shaded is?

Hey there!

For the shading tool to work, you need the range of colors you want to shade with added to the palette and have them selected. All the shading ink does is change the color you are clicking on to the next or previous “step” in the selected color range.
