A minor adjustment request
The issue:
In a file with (let’s say) 10+ layers, shift-clicking the top-most and bottom-most layers will not actually select the other eight layers in-between (the two layers that were clicked will be actually highlighted and the rest remain greyed out).
I’d suggest altering this behavior (or adding a new shortcut) so that shift-clicking two layers actually selects all the other layers sandwiched between. This is useful for both setting the opacity as well as the color mode for multiple layers that use a similar style/aesthetic/effect all at once and might need editing, without having to shift-click each one.
Conventionally, Ctrl-click would be used to add individual layers to a selection, whereas shift-clicks could select a sequence of layers.
