Slice tool issues?

System: PC, Windows 10.019045 Build 19045
Tested on Aseprite versions:
Aseprite-v1.3.9.2-x64 (itch.io, portable) & Aseprite-v1.3.15.4-x64 (itch.io, portable)

Hello, this is my first time using the Slice tool, so I’m not sure if this is a bug or I’m using it incorrectly:

  1. Whenever I try to rename a slice using the field at the top, it doesn’t save the new name? It reverts back to the old name after I reselect the slice. I can only rename slices using the Slice Properties window.

  1. Another issue I’m encountering is the Slice drop down list not showing anything after clicking the down arrow button next to the slice name field, with or without any slices selected.

(I can’t attach the GIF showing the 2nd issue due to being a new user)

Hi @chickysprout, actually it’s an expected behavior as the combo box acts like a search/filter field:

Seeing your comment I can notice that it might generate some confusion, probably we need to add :magnifying_glass_tilted_left: icon to the combo box.
