I could just be imagining things, but did the square brush rotational direction change in the last update? The direction for a positive angle is currently clockwise. For the line brush, the rotational direction is counterclockwise. My expectation is the square brush would be consistent with other functionality.
Above, the red square, rotated -15 degrees, has a matching slope with the white line, rotated +15 degrees.
