I’ve been looking into using aseprite to create animations for dot-matrix-displays (think the LED displays on pinball machines, digital advertisement boards, etc). Given these types of displays have round pixels, it would be nice if I had to option to use round pixels in aseprite so I can get a better preview of what the final animation will look like.
In my mind, “round” could just be another option in the pixel aspect ratio drop-down. Alternatively, keep the pixels rectangular in the editor but have an option to toggle the preview window between rectangular and round pixels.
