I made a simple representation of what I think that the theme options would look like, where it says Classic you would be able to choose between two or more kinds of theme (thats up to dacap).
My choices are the classic (normal Aseprite we know and love), modern version (Squared corners on everything) and the flat style (No shadowing plus squared corners).
Dark Mode option would set if the theme would be… Dark… Or light.
That options would only be avaliable if you were using the Default theme.
Simple, easy and fast.

Dark mode should be an option you can add when creating a .aseprite-extension who have multiple theme inside (a light and dark themes for exemple).
This topic is almost a year old so you probably shouldn’t necropost, sorry I’m not trying to be mean but most forums I’ve been to frown on posting in old topics and I don’t want you to get in trouble.
