A small night scene I made: a black fox in a red shrine bib keeps watch atop a torii gate, with a full moon behind it and seigaiha waves rolling below. Sakura petals drift past, the mist moves, and if you watch for a few seconds, the fox blinks and flicks its tail.
Feedback is welcome, especially on the water and the fox’s tail motion.

first off, the petals are, amazing, but theres not a lot of secondary motion on the tail, only the tip moves and its very isolated, i recommend you think about what it takes to actually move the tail even that little bit, they cant simply move the tip, as for the waves, its not nessesarily bad, its just off, i would try making the waves bigger, as it teh scale of the waves dont quite match the other focal elements, i would also highly recommend you go see some traditional chinease ink work, could be great inspiration if you wanna do smt else in this vibe.
