I don’t know what else to say. I used Aseprite as a drawing tool four years ago, this bug made me exclusively use Paint.Net. Recently, we started a new project using pixel art and I used Aseprite, because i love its intuitiveness and depth of tools, until I got this bug twice in two days.
There is some very specific button on your keyboard that will nuke your file, and not allow you to undo it. Which is fine. You are allowed to have that in a program. I believe it is if you select a layer, and only the pixels on it, it will resize to canvas then remap to the original size which completely fucks anything you have done on it. and you can’t undo it because it remaps undo history somehow
I’m using Paint.net until this is fixed. I encourage others to do to, the fact that i have lost as many hours of work to this program as I have is proof I want to use it. Please fix it.
