Currently it’s possible to create linked cels with Alt+M or directly on continuous layers (Is there an option to reuse frame?). However they are always created on neighbouring frames.
I need to alternate the same frames for a blinking animation A-B-A-B.
I start with A-B. I must give space to A to Alt+M and add multiple linked cells after it without overwriting B. Then I must also Alt+M B on free space or new frames to create linked cels.
Finally I must move the linked cels of each type around to alternative A and B.
With a new Paste Special > Paste linked cel command (with assignable shortcut e.g. Ctrl+Alt+V) I’d be able to quickly insert B in the middle of the linked A for the alternating frames.
