Hello there, ![]()
I am new to Aseprite and am having a lot of fun exploring the software. I am working on a pixel art animation and could use some advice on creating a seamless loop.
The animation is of a character running, and I want the movement to feel smooth and natural without any noticeable jumps or interruptions at the loop point. I have managed to create a rough draft of the animation; but the transition between the last frame and the first frame does not feel as seamless as I would like.
Are there any techniques or best practices for ensuring that the last frame aligns perfectly with the first? ![]()
Would you recommend using onion skinning throughout the process, or are there other tools in Aseprite that I should consider? ![]()
Also, I have gone through this post; https://community.aseprite.org/t/how-to-make-layers-have-independent-looping-animations-salesforce-marketing which definitely helped me out a lot.
Is there a way to preview the animation as a loop directly in Aseprite? If so; how can I best utilize this feature to spot inconsistencies?
Thanks in advance for your help and assistance. ![]()
