Select all pixels in layer

Is there a way to select all the pixels in the layer? Many apps like PhotoShop have a “Selection from Layer” command but I don’t see Aseprite has it. This would be very helpful for masking when you don’t want to draw outside of some bounds.

You can use the magic wand with contiguous mode turned off and select the transparency.

as KashouC says, or you can ctrl + click on the layer
(the layer should not be selected - with border around it)
