Ive been working on a project and noticed it has color flashing when exported. After looking into it, I’m pretty sure I’m not over the color limit of 256. Checked the colors of each frame. Does anyone know other troubleshooting I should go for? Any help is really appreciated
Also first time posting. Don’t know what im doing
if the gif shows properly then the color change is in the hair but its way worse when i post it on discord
I think this might be related to the number of colors or layer blending modes in case you’re using them (or opacity on layers).
Hi there !
I’m quite new when it’s about art and pixel art, bought Aseprite 3 weeks ago.
Was wondering ; I’m working on this guys (Doomfist of Overwatch, if that ring a bel for you) and I have this weird color change in the gif, making it very odd.
How can I avoid it ?
Thanks for all the fish, and have a good day !
why is my gif like this??? Ive been so confused??
To note: It doesn’t look like this until I upload it to a site. So I have to upload my file to a site to see if I did anything wrong. And it seems like it has??
Anyone that can help me, thank you.
Hi, I love the program but I’ve got a problem with the 1.2.9 I currently have. When I bring in art from another program, make a palette from the art, and then downsample to index color the colors chosen aren’t always the correct ones even if they exist in the palette. I think this can be reproduced easily.
-Make a new document (rgb).
-Put two colors down but make them only one or two integers apart in one channel.
-Make palette from image (should end up having only have three entries with t…
There are two issues:
GIF files don’t support more than 256 colors
An issue on Aseprite that doesn’t quantize quite right colors (the conversion from RGB -> Indexed could be improved, issue
Opacity on all the layers is max and Im not sure what layer blending modes are but I’ll try to reduce the number of colors and see if that fixes it
